NuView's Pipeline
NuView is a leader in the development of molecular imaging biomarkers with multiple promising commercial Positron Emission Technology (PET) and Single Photon Emission Computerized Technology (SPECT) compounds already in animal and human pre Food and Drug Administration (FDA) trials.
NuView has executed exclusive license rights for worldwide distribution of these IP compounds with three research universities. These leading medical centers, which are currently developing specific radiotracer probes for diagnostic and therapeutic applications in infectious diseases, cancers of the breast, prostate, and pancreas, melanoma and cardiovascular disease.
Our research partners have followed the FDA's and institutional animal and exploratory Investigative New Drug (IND) guidance protocols to effectively test multiple compounds in pre-clinical animal models and consenting humans. These investigations have enabled us to bring forward only those selective molecular probes that show the best use as a diagnostic or therapeutic tool.
Development Guidelines:
The drug development program at NuView differs from many known programs found at other pharmaceutical companies.
NuView's products in development have been thoroughly tested at the above research centers before we get involved. Toxicity studies, drug bio-distribution, as well as, small and large animal research studies are typically completed with successful outcomes demonstrating sound hypothesis, proof of principle and efficacy. NuView does not become involved unless those criteria have been firmly established.
The diagnostic biomarkers in development at NuView are IP protected. Our role is to accelerate product development by filing a new drug application with the FDA. Our drug development program manages development costs and positions our products for success. Our imaging products in development are designed to utilize sensitive medical devices such as (PET and PET/ CT) so that the smallest anomaly can be visualized externally at an early stage. Subsequently, with our products you can also determine if the targeted therapy is effective and diminishes the disease. Our goal is to develop those probes that will detect disease at an early stage, treat it effectively, monitor the effectiveness of treatment, and facilitate efficient patient outcome management in a timely and cost saving manner.
Our Products in Development:
NuView's molecular imaging development program consists of 8 agents specific for infectious disease, pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, melanoma and cardiovascular disease. NuView collaborations with academic research partners are strong as it includes those investigators who have a long history of expertise and dedication.
Our Strategy:
Our strategy is to select and undertake a thoughtful approach to bring to the market those promising probes/biomarkers that will successfully address the current needs in the management of those key diseases that drain the healthcare system yet take thousands of lives annually.
