Stanley J. Pappelbaum

Dr. Pappelbaum brings to the Company¹s board of directors a broad and  impressive background in medicine that includes academic and private  practice medicine as well as forming consulting firms that provided a broad  range of solutions and advice to hospitals, medical groups, health insurance  and governmental clients.  From February 1996 to June 2000, Dr. Pappelbaum  served in various senior executive positions with ScrippsHealth, a highly  respected five hospital not-for-profit system with 2,500 affiliated  physicians, including serving as President and Chief Executive Officer. From  1969 to 1984, Dr. Pappelbaum practiced pediatric cardiology at the  University of California, San Diego and at San Diego Children¹s Hospital  where he was Chief of Pediatric Cardiology.

 Dr. Pappelbaum currently holds teaching appointments as Clinical Professor  of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of California, San Diego School of  Medicine and as Adjunct Faculty, Division of Health Services Administration,  Graduate School of Public Health, San Diego State University.  

   Since 2000, Dr. Pappelbaum has been the managing partner of national healthcare  consultancy located in San Diego that advises a broad client base of  hospitals and medical groups in the United States. Dr. Pappelbaum is Board  Certified by the American boards of Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology and  is a certified Physician Executive of the American College of Physician  Executives. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American  College of Cardiology and the American College of Physician Executives.  He  is a retired member of the San Diego County Medical Society and the  California Medical Association.  He is an active member of the American  Medical Association. In addition to his medical credentials, Dr Pappelbaum earned an advanced degree from the Sloan School of Management at MIT
